A New Agenda for Catholic Theology and Ministry

The voices and perspectives of Queer Catholic Theologians and Activists of Color have been largely missing from conversations about gender and sexuality. A forthcoming collaborative book will change that.  It explores the interlocking layers of oppression that queer persons of color face, especially with respect to issues of racism, hetero/sexism, and immigration status, and the life and death consequences of the church’s theology, policy stances, and pastoral practices. Hear from an editor and contributor to the book on the deeply human issues of sexuality, gender- and sex-based oppression in the context of race, ethnicity, and Catholic faith.
